Upward Health Announces New Vice President of Clinical Services

Upward Health, a leading in-home medical and behavioral primary care provider, announced today it has hired Michele Kratz, R.N. as Vice President of Clinical Services.  Kratz will oversee Upward Health’s national multidisciplinary field staff.

“Michele joins the leadership team at a key point in our company development,” said Glen Moller, CEO of Upward Health. “Michele’s proven clinical expertise and case management background will enable us to further develop meaningful treatment plans and programs for our patients and continue to improve the quality of care provided to the populations we serve.”

Kratz joins Upward Health from Cigna-HealthSpring, where she most recently served as the Vice President of Health Services, with responsibility for Health Services for the Mid-Atlantic, Pennsylvania and Illinois, including Utilization Management, Case Management and Data Analytics. Kratz also held the positions of Director of Operations and Director of Care Management Strategies during her tenure at Cigna-HealthSpring from 2012 through 2019. She also served in leadership positions with Kindred Healthcare, Cooper University Hospital and Elderplan.
