Dr. Anubhav “Anu” Kaul

Chief Medical Officer

The Thinker

Anu is our Chief Medical Officer, responsible for development and oversight of the company’s clinical programs focusing on outcomes, quality of care, and member satisfaction. He brings with him years of experience in community-based healthcare, quality improvement, healthcare policy and telehealth.

Anu is a board-certified physician who has held numerous medical leadership positions. Previously, he served as the Chief Medical Officer for Mattapan Community Health Center in Boston, where he was responsible for managing medical staff and primary care services, and leading quality improvement, patient safety and risk management initiatives. Prior to his role at Mattapan, Anu served as a Hospitalist at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, and served as a Board Member for Boston Healthcare for the Homeless in Boston, Massachusetts.

Anu is an internal medicine physician who holds a Masters in Public Health from Dartmouth Institute. He trained at Ross University School of Medicine, obtained his Masters in Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Hospital Management Fellowship at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.

When Dr. Kaul isn’t overseeing our medical programs, he is exploring small coastal towns of New England with his family. He also loves spending time immersed in constructive reflection at boutique coffee shops. Coined as the ‘fun’ parent to his two young children, Dr. Kaul really enjoys a good underdog story.
