Dennis is the Advisor to the CEO, responsible for high-priority projects that focus on innovation in patient care and our overall medical strategy as an organization. He brings with him 20+ years of experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, MA Risk Adjustment, HEDIS, MLR management, physician documentation, and clinical governance.

Dennis is a board-certified in Quality, Utilization, and Risk Management and has been delivering care for over 35 years. He held numerous executive leadership positions with IBM, McKesson, Consolidated Health Plan (Berkshire), CareSync, and Sunera. He also served as the CMS Physician Champion for ICD-10 in Florida, founded and led two managed care companies, and has served as Chief Medical Officer or Medical Director to more than 15 companies. Dennis’s biomedical and healthcare technology experience includes working with the IBM Watson Center, NASA’s Technology Transfer Team, SMRxT, and PatientKeeper. He serves on the advisory boards for Datacys, Elite Healthcare, and Revasurrant. Dennis received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from SUNY Buffalo, an M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine, and an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida. He retired as a Major from the US Army Reserve MC.

When Dennis isn’t busy treating patients and starting healthcare companies, he is spending time at the beach with his wife and corralling his grandkids. He also is well known for telling jokes to anyone who will listen and making people laugh. Laughter is the best medicine, after all!
