Dr. Roan serves as Regional Medical Director at Upward Health, overseeing the development and management of physical health programs and clinical teams across the Louisiana markets. She brings over a decade of experience across diverse care settings, including emergency care, telemedicine, primary care, and healthcare administration.A double board-certified emergency medicine and internal medicine physician, Dr. Roan earned her medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.

Outside of work, Laura embraces her Louisiana roots and fills her days with family time, travel adventures, and West Coast swing dancing. At home, she keeps the energy high (and the pets entertained!) with three dogs, a cat, and even an aquatic turtle in the mix.
