Sudha serves as Regional Medical Director at Upward Health, where she leads the development and oversight of physical health programs and clinical teams in the New York market. She brings extensive experience delivering care to underserved populations across hospitals and outpatient clinics in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens.

A board-certified internal medicine physician, Sudha specializes in adult primary care and is deeply committed to advancing health equity and improving access to care. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from the University at Albany School of Public Health. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Before embarking on her career in primary care and community health, Sudha was a semi-professional performer of Indian Classical dance. Nowadays she spends her time outside of work in impromptu living room dance parties with her three young children and exploring the parks and playgrounds of her lifelong home – New York City.
