Stacey Jensen, RN, BSN, MBA/HCM

Chief Clinical Operations Officer

AKA: The Details Diva

Stacey serves as our Chief Clinical Operations Officer, leading the development and delivery of clinical programs and services through a diversified, multi-disciplinary care team. She brings extensive healthcare experience across multiple areas of operations and solution delivery, with a strong passion for improving the quality of care and patient experience — as well as supporting those who deliver it.

Before joining Upward Health, Stacey was Chief Operating Officer for Optum Infusion Services, a $2 billion organization providing home infusion and specialty pharmacy services. In this role, she oversaw pharmacy operations, led the design and deployment of the end-to-end operating model, advanced clinical care strategies and performance improvement initiatives, and managed a team of 3,000 staff members. Earlier in her career, Stacey spent nearly 20 years at Healthways, where she held multiple leadership roles across hospital, health system, payer, employer, and government program partnerships focused on health and well-being optimization.

Stacey holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University and an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. She also completed an Executive Development Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

When Stacey isn’t spending time optimizing the health and well-being of others, she can be found lounging on the beach with her husband listening to waves roll, trop rock playing and a book in hand. Stacey is the mom of three young men with two in college and one finally earning his own way. They keep her busy and often with a confused expression as they speak only in movie lines and song lyrics.
