Ben serves as Chief Financial Officer at Upward Health, where he leads all financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, and treasury functions. He also plays a key role in strategic planning and decision-making across the organization. Ben brings deep financial and operational expertise, with experience spanning healthcare, technology, and manufacturing industries.

Before joining Upward Health, Ben was Region Chief Financial Officer at Humana, Inc., overseeing a $10 billion P&L and managing financial operations for a population of 700,000 members. In that role, he helped improve health outcomes through innovative solutions, while also driving membership growth, retention, and margin expansion. Prior to Humana, Ben served as Managing Partner and Fractional CFO at Nola Consulting Group, LLC, and spent a decade as Chief Operating & Financial Officer at Mignon Faget LTD.

Ben holds an MBA in Finance and General Management from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.

When Ben isn’t busy crunching numbers and planning our financial future, he can be found with his wife, Marta, and two boys, little Ben and Alex, enjoying the culture of New Orleans, where he has lived for the last 21 years. He also enjoys running, golfing, skiing, and travelling the world.
