Reflecting on 2025: A Year of Impact at Upward Health
As 2025 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on an extraordinary year for Upward Health. Your interest and support have been instrumental in our success. This year was defined by growth and recognition, meaningful partnerships, and, most importantly, life-changing impact for the patients we serve. Let’s take a moment to look back at these accomplishments together.
A Record Year of Growth and Recognition
This year, Upward Health ranked No. 4 overall and No. 1 in Healthcare on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America, marking our third consecutive year in the Top 10. This achievement reflects sustained excellence and a mission that continues to scale.
Our growth has been driven by our people. With nearly 1,000 employees, we’ve built a workforce that reflects the communities we serve. Thanks to this culture, employee engagement ranks in the 96th percentile nationally, a testament to the shared purpose that drives our work.
That same dedication and innovation were recognized beyond our walls this year. I was proud to receive the EY Entrepreneur of the Year® 2025 Award, which I view as recognition of the extraordinary work our team does every day.
Expanding Our Reach and Strengthening Partnerships
In 2025, we continued to bring compassionate, in-home care to more people than ever before. We expanded our geographic footprint, deepening our reach across Louisiana and California, and extended our partnership with a national health plan from Arizona into California—launching our first value-based care program in the state. These milestones broadening our presence in rural physician deserts, urban centers, and high-need communities across multiple lines of business. These partnerships enabled tens of thousands of patients to receive comprehensive care from Upward Health’s multidisciplinary Care Team of physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and community health workers. Our whole-person approach improved outcomes, reduced avoidable hospitalizations, and helped patients gain the knowledge and confidence to better manage their own health.
Deepening Our Impact
Our results were recognized nationally through a Net Promoter Score of 91 and an average patient satisfaction score of 9.7 out of 10, reflecting the trust and satisfaction of the patients we serve.
One story that captures this impact is Debbie’s. A California patient whose life was changed for the better through Upward Health, she shares how her Care Team helped her regain her health and confidence. They focused on closing quality gaps and ensuring she received preventive screenings like her mammogram.
As we head into 2026, our path is clear. We’ll continue to expand partnerships nationwide. We are excited to launch pediatric care and expanded efforts around maternal health. We’ll also drive innovation in care delivery and analytics to improve outcomes and efficiency, remaining steadfast in our mission to transform care for those who need it most.
Thank you for being part of this mission. I’m deeply proud of what we’ve achieved together and energized for what’s next.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season — and a prosperous New Year.
